Scholarships

MNTMS families,

Middle school is never too early to start looking at scholarships. A scholarship is considered free money! Below are two scholarships Iā€™d like to share that are now open. Please contact me if you need more information on these scholarships. Best of luck!

Doodle 4 Google

The Doodle 4 Google scholarship is where students create a doodle of the Google homepage and a 50 word statement on their doodle. Any materials can be used. Including pens/pencils, art supplies, or illustration software. These doodles are exactly what we see on the homepage of Google.

Doodle 4 Google wants students to identify examples of inspiration, ideas, actions, events, and quotes that embody what it means to inspire. Students can identify acts, events, and movements that have changed the world for better. The 2019 Doodle for Google theme is: When I grow up, I hope...... This year's theme invites you to show us what you hope for in your future. Classrooms on Mars? Shoes that can fly? Food for everyone? A pill that cures everything? Take your ideas and put them into your Doodle!

Scholarship Opens: January 7, 2019

Deadline: March 18, 2019

Award: Finalist will win $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology scholarship for our campus
