Manor New Tech Middle School was honored to host leaders from across Texas for the first-ever statewide New Tech Network Regional Leadership Conference on Thursday.
The conference was meant to bring school and district administrators from New Tech Network schools in our region together to engage in structured sessions called Critical Friends Groups. During these sessions, participants shared new ideas on fostering collaborations in new tech network schools. Approximately 40 Leaders from El Paso ISD and Dallas area school districts attended, along with leaders from Pioneer Crossing Elementary, Manor New Tech Middle, and Manor New Tech High School.
"One of my hopes is that people walk away with fresh ideas from their colleagues who can push for critical thinking, help them reflect and get exposure to a variety of different protocols to support collaborations," said Jen Benkovitz, New Tech Network Director of School Leadership.
The session also included a welcome address from MISD Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery and his leadership team.
