Manor ISD hired several key positions Jan. 22.
Scott Drillette was hired as the Chief Financial Officer Monday. He will work directly with Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery to implement a strong fiscal plan for the district and oversee its business office operations. Mr. Drillette is currently the Superintendent of Brock ISD, where he was also CFO, Assistant Superintendent, Athletics Director, and before that a High School Principal. He received his Master of Education from Tarleton State University and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Valerie Hopkins was hired as director of Transportation Monday as well. Ms. Hopkins comes to Manor ISD from the Texas School for the Deaf, where she was Transportation Coordinator. As Transportation Director, she will oversee Manor ISD’s bus fleet and transportation staff and ensure students arrive at school safely and on time.
Ronald Morrison was hired as the director of Human Resources Monday. He will help oversee the department with Dan Vera, Executive Director of Human Resources. Mr. Morrison has more than 20 years of experience in various industries including education, health care, government, and more. He comes to Manor ISD from Hays Consolidated Independent School District, where he is executive director of Human Resources. He has also served as Director of Human Resources and Administration Officer for the Lakeway Regional Medical Center and director of Fine Arts for Pearland ISD. He received his Master of Arts from Stephen F. Austin University and his Bachelor of Arts from Houston Baptist University.
