Texas House Rep. Celia Israel came to Manor New Tech Middle School Thursday to explore the innovative learning spaces that have become the talk of education in Central Texas.
Rep. Israel toured the school with Manor ISD Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery and Trustees Ana Cortez, Monique Celedon, and Johnnie Velasco as well as Manor ISD administrators.
Rep. Israel represents large parts of Central Texas and Manor ISD.
Dr. Avery and the district administrators told Rep. Israel about how students use the open space for collaborative projects and cross-curriculum learning. She also learned about the school’s fine arts and athletics offerings.
Thank you to Rep. Israel for coming to our great new school!
